SKELGAMOG! Update 15: One of many necromancy sites

Oh, you thought I was done mapping? That's funny, cuz I didn't hear no bell! Have three more of these bad boys!

SKELGAMOG! Update 14: The mainline maps finished.

IT IS DONE! Well, the mainline maps are done, anyhow. Check it out.

The Dreaming City

The Domain of the Kraken

The Lost Tombs

The Halls of Twisted Iron

Now I just need to map out the other overworld dungeon sites, number and stock everything, and then redraw it all. Hell yeah!

SKELGAMOG! Update 11: Pits, Caves, and Worms

I'm actually pretty damn proud of myself this week. Managed to crank out three whole maps. I think I'm about halfway through the mainline now, so not much to do but to keep chugging along, I guess.

Pits of Pain

Caves of Corruption

Throne of the Worm God

SKELGAMOG! Update 10: The Machine

10th update anniversary! WOO WOO! Okay, that's enough celebration, back to work. Here's the next map.

I'm thinking that this floor's gimmick is only half of the rooms are accessible when the Machine is on, and the party can fiddle around with shit to turn it off and get to the other half. I don't know how this would actually work, in practice, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

SKELGAMOG! Update 9: The Vault of Time and thoughts on art.

Got another map done this week. This time it's the Vault Sealed by Time.

Also, I wanted to talk about the (eventual) art for this fuck-huge project. Recently I re-stumbled on the cover of The Chaos Gods come to Meatlandia, and holy shit look at this thing.
LOOK UPON THE MAJESTY
Absolutely glorious, in a cheesy home-made kind of way. The medium of clay really speaks to me, and I'd really want to try for a claymation-esque art style for SKELGAMOG! At least for the cover. To tell you the truth I'm a shitty 2D artist, but I've been sculpting like a motherfucker since forever.
Might be a little pre-emptive to start planning that sort of thing, but it's just what I'm thinking about.
